Violence in Saw III

• Via the light from a small flashlight, we see a man who's chained by the leg in a filthy bathroom. He's frantic to get out, but can't, and a gun he retrieves off the floor is empty. We then see what appears to be a dead and bloody body on the floor, as well as a severed and bloody foot. This man finds the hacksaw that one apparently used to cut off his own foot and prepares to do the same to his, but can't go through with it. We then see a flash image of another dead and very bloody body, and then this man takes a large and heavy bathroom floor tile and repeatedly smashes his ankle with it (yelling and screaming, with lots of resultant blood). He then grabs his dangling foot and snaps it off (we also hear that sound) so that he can escape. All of the above is in a dimly lit locale, so not everything is seen in full.
• We see a flashback to an ex-con who's standing with various heavy chains attached to various points of his skin, pulling it taut in places and otherwise looking painful and bloody. The TV comes on and Jigsaw informs him that he only has a minute to yank those hooks out of his skin before an explosive is detonated. The man then panics and proceeds to do just that, ripping them out of places all over his body (with very bloody results) as he races against the clock (having seen the explosive results, we know he didn't succeed).
• Kerry suddenly sees herself on her TV, meaning a camera is on her from somewhere in her place. She quickly pulls her gun and fires several shots into her closet door. She then slowly goes to investigate, finally finding the camera. As she does, however, we see (on the TV) a figure coming up from behind and grabbing her.
• We see a woman suspended off the floor with some sort of attachment connected to her ribs on either side of her body (there's blood there and some on the floor beneath her). The TV comes on and Jigsaw states she can free herself, but only if she reaches her hand down into a jar of acid to remove the key at the bottom that's now starting to dissolve away. She quickly dips her hand in, burning her flesh, but can't get the key. She does so again, eventually grabbing it but not before the acid has turned red from her blood. She yanks her hand out that's now all bloody and tries to undo the lock, but the contraption on her is sprung and it appears to rip open her torso via her ribs (seen from a distance, although we hear and partially see blood pouring down onto the floor below her).
• We see that Lynn has been gagged and bound to a chair.
• We see Jeff in a wooden crate suspended above the floor. He eventually kicks part of it open, causing the crate to crash down to the floor, dazing and slightly wounding him.
• Amanda grabs Lynn by the hair.
• Jeff enters a huge, walk-in freezer where the door closes behind him and locks him inside. He then spots a woman hanging fully nude by her wrists. As part of her torture, we see mist sprayed onto her in the freezing room, until she's eventually completely encased in a thin layer of ice (presumably dead).
• Jeff tries to reach for a key to free a woman, with his wet face going up against some frozen pipes in a walk-in freezer room. As he then pulls away, a big chunk of skin from the side of his face is torn off (with bloody results and we later see that wound various times).
• Jeff sees flash images of his dead son at the moment of his accidental death.
• We see a flashback to Amanda attacking and struggling with a person while wearing a pig's head mask.
• We see a flashback to Amanda cutting into her own leg with a large knife (and see scars from previous such activity).
• Amanda grabs Lynn by the throat and has her other hand on her handgun that's tucked into the back of her pants, but John tells her to stop.
• Jealous of what she thinks is John liking Lynn better than her, Amanda grasps something so tightly that it cuts her hand (we see some blood dripping to the floor).
• We see a flashback to Amanda suffocating a person by putting a plastic bag over their head and holding that there as they struggle (we see some blood in that bag during this).
• John and another man find a third man in a contraption that a tape recording states will twist his limbs and head around and around unless John is willing to retrieve a key attached to a shotgun that will shoot whoever removes the key. John is reluctant since this is the drunk driver who killed his son, but reconsiders once the twisting starts (we see that the man's hands and feet are impaled in structures that slowly start to rotate, causing him a great deal of pain and the man screams in agony). The twisting continues, including shredding the guy's leg (with bloody results), so John tries to retrieve the key without pulling the attachment. He does so, but the shotgun fires anyway, hitting the second man in the side of the head (with very bloody results). The man being twisted then dies when his head is twisted around, breaking his neck.
• We see a flashback to the guy who smashed his foot off with a floor tile, now limping along and dragging his bloody stump that leaves a trail of blood on the floor. He then encounters Amanda, bashes her with a pipe, bites into her leg, punches her, and then repeatedly bashes her now very bloody head to the wall and such. After he falls down in pain from stepping on his stump, she then kicks him hard on that stump, causing him a lot of pain.
• One woman shoots another in the back, with a man then shooting the woman shooter in the neck, resulting in both of the wounded being quite bloody (especially the woman shooter). An explosive device around one's neck then detonates and kills her (with bloody/gory results).
• A man uses a rotary saw to slice open another man's throat (with very bloody results).

Violence in 'Scream'

There are many scenes where the killer attacks his victims, but he is also hit with fists, knees and feet as the victims defend themselves.

The caller threatens those he calls ("If you hang up on me again, I'll cut you like a fish" and "Do you want to see what your insides look like?")

The killer stabs a girl in the chest with a knife and then begins strangling her. She's stabbed several times again and later is seen hanging from a tree.

The fact that Sidney's mother was raped and murdered nearly a year ago is mentioned many times.

The killer attacks Sidney and head butts her. He then tries to stab her and then chases her through the house.

Sidney slugs Gale after she's had enough of her and her book about the death of Sidney's mother and the killer.

The principal is attacked and killed.

Tatum is attacked by the killer and he slices her arm with a knife. She then tries to get out through a pet opening in the garage door, but the door is opened and she's crushed at the top.

Billy is stabbed by the killer who then chases Sidney throughout the house. She gets out to the TV van, but the cameraman gets sliced across the throat.

Two guys stab each other with knives to make it look like they were attacked.

In the final sequence (not to spoil the ending too much), many people are wounded or killed, some by knife wounds, others by being shot (And one is killed when a TV falls on him and he's electrocuted).
